What’s with the URL? Evolutionary Thinker? not Revolutionary Thinker? Are you sure you got that right?

Here’s my thinking: Occasionally, I do come up with a revolutionary idea — a burst of near-genius, so to speak — but who doesn’t? I appreciate it when it happens but it’s not a reliable resource.

What’s reliable? Knowing your stuff is reliable. Keeping updated and fresh is reliable. Maintaining your sense of wonder about the world and delight in the workings of the human mind, that’s reliable.

For me, going from where I am to where I will go is always an evolution, a progressive improvement (one hopes) of learning, visualizing, problem solving… of thought. In both life and work, who doesn’t want to evolve?
